Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-30

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SiteLogs browser extension and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by the SiteLogs maintainer ("we", "us", or "SiteLogs"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.

1. License grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and timely payment of any applicable fees, SiteLogs grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Service on browsers you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use.

2. Trial and paid access

SiteLogs offers a free trial period (currently 7 days from first install). During the trial you may use all features without payment. After the trial ends, the dashboard locks and continued use requires a paid lifetime license.

The lifetime license is a one-time purchase. Once activated, the license does not expire and entitles you to all current and future features of the Service.

3. License keys and activation

After purchase you receive a license key by email from our payment provider. You activate the Service by pasting this key into the extension's Settings panel.

Each license key has a per-device activation limit (currently 5). You may deactivate a device at any time from Settings → License → "Deactivate this device" to free up a slot.

License keys are personal. You may not sell, sublicense, share, publicly post, or otherwise transfer your license key to any third party. We reserve the right to revoke license keys we identify as having been shared, leaked, or used for resale.

4. Refunds

We offer a 30-day, no-questions-asked refund. If you are unsatisfied with the Service for any reason, email us within 30 days of purchase with your order ID and we will refund the full amount through our payment provider.

Refund requests after 30 days are evaluated case-by-case and granted at our sole discretion.

5. Payment provider

Payments are processed by an external Merchant of Record on our behalf. The Merchant of Record handles all credit card processing, tax collection and remittance, invoicing, and chargeback handling. By making a purchase, you also agree to the terms and privacy policy of the Merchant of Record shown at checkout.

SiteLogs never receives or stores your payment card details.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Privacy

The Service is local-first by design. Visit data is stored on your own device only and is never transmitted to us. For full details see our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

8. Updates and changes

We may publish updates to the Service through the Chrome Web Store. Most updates apply automatically. Updates may add, change, or remove features at our discretion; we will not remove features that materially reduce the value of an active lifetime license without offering equivalent functionality.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension. Uninstalling removes all locally stored data.

We may suspend or terminate your license, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms (in particular sections 3, 6, or 11). In the case of termination for breach, no refund is owed.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF DATA. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SITELOGS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID US (OR OUR PAYMENT PROVIDER) FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold SiteLogs harmless from any claim, loss, or damage, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed by good-faith negotiation; failing that, it shall be submitted to the competent court at the maintainer's place of residence.

Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving the original intent.
